The wines in the First Lady collection are a tribute to Norma Ratclife. She was the first woman to make wine in South Africa and the creator and first winemaker at Warwick Estate. This is a bone dry Rosé with amazing aromatics, as its colour suggests. It was created with sunny days in mind, and it entices you to have a second glass.
On the nose, there are notes of peach, strawberry, and green fig, followed by a bouquet of flowery and strawberry flavours on the palate. The finish is beautifully dry and elegant, with a long lingering finish that makes you want to take another sip.
